Jeuveau Denver

in Denver, CO

Young woman with dark hair and soft expression.

Not your mama’s BOTOX

It’s time to say, “hello, Jeuveau™!” and bye-bye to glabellar lines between your brows. This BOTOX alternative is fresh to the market—and Gregory A. Buford, MD, FACS, PCEO, a nationally recognized injectables expert and trainer, is pleased to offer another option for patients in the Lone Tree and Denver area who are hoping to look younger and fresher.

Face & Skin Self-Assessment

Before you meet with Dr. Buford for your consultation, consider filling out our face and skin self-assessment. By sharing how you see yourself, we can best evaluate your aesthetic goals and determine an appropriate treatment plan for you.

What is Jeuveau?

Jeuveau is an acetylcholine release inhibitor and neuromuscular blocking agent that is injected into the muscles between your eyes and above your eyebrows. In simpler terms, it’s an injectable medication that interrupts signals between your nerves and muscles, essentially limiting the movement of wrinkle-causing muscles along your brown bone.

Jeuveau is FDA approved to treat moderate-to-severe glabellar lines, often referred to as the “elevens” between your eyebrows. While these wrinkles are typically referred to as frown lines, they can develop from any frequently made expression—and, over time, the creases stay behind even when your face is at rest.

What can I expect from a Jeuveau treatment at BEAUTY by BUFORD in Lone Tree?

After consulting with Dr. Buford to determine if Jeuveau is a good option for you, you’ll be seated in one of our comfortable exam rooms. Treatment typically takes around 12-20 minutes tops, and while it’s normal to feel a “pinch” and some discomfort during injection, most patients report that the experience is tolerable (and quick!).

After your treatment, you may experience some localized swelling, redness, and tenderness at the injection sites, but these side effects typically resolve within just a day or two. While you’ll need to limit strenuous activity, you can head back to work and your normal routine right away.

Will my face look frozen?

When it comes to Jeuveau and other BOTOX-like products, it’s normal for patients to worry about their ability to properly express themselves after treatment. While these medications do impact the movement of certain muscles, it does not prevent all movement when injected conservatively by an experienced provider.

With many years of experience, board certified plastic surgeon Gregory A. Buford, MD, FACS, PCEO has a comprehensive understanding of facial anatomy and how your muscles and underlying structures interact. Dr. Buford and his expert team are here to help give you the natural results you desire. Through careful injection, they are able to create a subtle, natural looking result that still provides a noticeable improvement. The result? A beautifully smooth upper face that still leaves room for you to express yourself.

Natrelle® Breast Implants
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Breast implants are not lifetime devices. The longer patients have them, the greater the chance they will develop complications, which may require more surgery. Breast implants have been associated with a cancer of the immune system called breast implant–associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL). Some patients have died from BIA-ALCL. Patients have also reported a variety of systemic symptoms such as joint pain, muscle aches, confusion, chronic fatigue, autoimmune diseases, and others.

Natrelle® Breast Implants are for breast augmentation and revision surgery in women at least 22 years old for silicone-filled implants and women at least 18 years old for saline-filled implants.

You should not get breast implants if you currently have an active infection, untreated breast cancer or precancer, or are pregnant or nursing. Tell your doctor about any conditions you have, any medications you are taking, and any planned cancer treatments. Breast implantation is likely not a one-time surgery.

Having implants removed and not replaced may lead to permanent cosmetic changes of the breasts. Breast implants may affect breastfeeding. Gel implants may rupture without symptoms, so periodic imaging after surgery is recommended.

Key complications are reoperation, implant removal, implant rupture, implant deflation with saline-filled implants, and severe capsular contracture.

Talk to your doctor for more information.

The use of Natrelle® Breast Implants is restricted to licensed physicians who provide information to patients about the risks and benefits of breast implant surgery.
